What the heck happened to Nami's character? It's bearable in the past episodes but how did her character became this worst?

This is a filler episode. It is a problem I sometimes have with fillers where they take an aspect of a character and exaggerate it out of proportion because they don't know how to properly write it the way the original author does. Whoever is writing this obviously finds Nami's love for money funny and has decided to make it her entire character for this arc even though they are ruining the character. It is actually how I tell I'm in a filler. If characters start acting like caricatures of themselves, you are probably watching a filler.

I hate Nami's character so much in these old eps, her greed really goes too far sometimes - treating Sanji like a dog and having him electrocuted, and trying to forsake Luffy. I know it's for "fun", but gets annoying real fast
